KUCHING, March 14: Interhill Group managing director Datuk Hu Chang Pee, also known as Hii Chang Pee, passed away last night (March 13).
This was confirmed in a Facebook post by his daughter Alice Hii.
“It is with a heavy heart that our family announces that our father, Datuk Hu Chang Pee, was called home to the Lord tonight.
“Our father asked to be baptised in February and now finally rests in peace in our Heavenly Father’s embrace.
“Friends and family are invited to pay their last respects at his residence at Tanjung Lobang on Wednesday, 15 March, at 1.30pm.
“He will be dearly missed,” she said in the post.
According to a reliable source close to the family, Hu passed away due to old age.
He drew his last breath at his home at 8.34pm.
