KUCHING, March 2: Matang Family Park, Matang Wildlife Centre, and Kubah National Park are closed today due to flooding and unsafe weather conditions.
In a morning advisory, the Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) emphasised that the prompt closure aims to prevent potential accidents or hazards, prioritising visitor safety.
The decision follows heavy overnight rainfall in Kuching, resulting in widespread flooding and road closures, with many homes submerged in floodwater.
SFC urges the public to prioritise safety during adverse weather conditions, especially during floods, and to remain vigilant of their surroundings.
