KUCHING, June 18: Those who are in the standby list to receive Covid-19 vaccines must wait for an official phone call prior to making an appearance at the Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) vaccination centre (PPV).

Unimas PPV, in a statement dated June 17, said that those in the standby list for vaccination can anticipate a call from either one of the following numbers namely, 082-581000/082-267588/082-276088/082-584088.

“Alternatively, the eligible vaccine recipients may also receive an official short message service (SMS) from the number 68889 from Unimas before attending the designated location,” it said.

It further informed that the setting up of the Unimas PPV was to assist the implementation of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (Pick) by administering the vaccines to the community.

“Therefore, all the registration, updating and the recipients list processes at the Unimas PPV are determined through appointments in the MySejahtera application.

“The members of the public are advised to keep on updating their details in the MySejahtera app in order to receive the latest information on their appointment eligibility.

“The location for the vaccination is usually updated within two days before the recipient’s appointment date,” it added.

It also stressed that the Unimas PPV does not provide any line for appointments through a slot-in waiting list and is fully subject to the information/data available in the MySejahtera application.

For inquiries on Unimas PPV, the members of the public may call any of its hotline numbers namely, +6082 581729, +6082 581649, +6082 581650, +6082 581599, +6082 581494, or +6082 581889. — DayakDaily
