KUCHING, December 16: Thirty underprivileged students from SK Plaie DC, Samarahan are treated to a festive Christmas buffet hosted by Imperial Hotel Kuching as part of its annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.
With the spirit of ushering in Christmas and a season of sharing, giving, and caring, the students were treated to a variety of festive-themed dishes, including traditional roasted turkey, chicken, beef, lamb, and vegetables.
The festive feast lit up the faces of the young guests with joyful smiles, while Santa’s heartfelt gesture of handing out little presents added a magical touch to the celebration, making it an unforgettable experience for both the children and the hotel’s management.
To crown the festive celebration, the children received thoughtful ‘Back-to-School’ gifts from the hotel’s manager, Patrick Kuek, as a gesture of support for their upcoming school term.
Since 2015, the hotel has made it an annual tradition to host underprivileged students from rural schools, offering them not just presents but also the rare joy of experiencing Christmas festivities in a hotel setting. The initiative reflects the hotel’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and bringing happiness to those in need.
