KUCHING, Nov 17: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas is in stable condition and recuperating in the hospital following a minor medical procedure earlier today.
Uggah, in a brief statement, sent his appreciation to everyone concerned and gave his assurance that all tasks entrusted to him will be delegated accordingly during his absence.
The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) chairman, who is very much concerned with the Covid-19 situation in the state, also advised everyone to continue to stay vigilant and adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOP) issued even though Sarawak has seen a drop in cases in the past few days.
“Stay safe, ‘jaga Sarawak, intu Sarawak’ (take care of Sarawak)!,” he reminded.
Uggah, who is currently hospitalised, will be taking leave from work in the meantime to rest and recover after the medical procedure. — DayakDaily
