KUCHING, Jan 7: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas has resumed his duties as the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) chairman.
Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Jaul Samion handed over the duty document to Uggah during a ceremony at Wisma Bapa Malaysia yesterday.
Also present at the ceremony were Deputy Chief Minister cum SDMC advisor Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian, Sarawak Deputy State Secretary (Rural Transformation) Datu Ik Pahon Joyik, and the Sarawak State Health Department acting director Dr Rosemawati Ariffin.
