KUCHING, Dec 17: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) has a clear mission and vision for Sarawak and its people for the next five years under its manifesto.

According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas said that no party leader who has contested has a record of performance comparable to Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

“The chief minister, who is also GPS chairman, surpassed all party leaders in performance and service, as well as wise in finding financial allocation for Sarawak,” said Uggah in his speech during the Agriculture Community Outreach Programme held in Rumah Mathew J. Punpun in Gran Stumbin of Lingga, yesterday.

Meanwhile, during the programme, Uggah, who is also GPS election director, witnessed the GPS candidate for N28 Lingga Dayang Noorazah Awang Sohor taking her pledge to serve and carry out the responsibility of looking after the constituency and its voters fairly if she wins the election.

Dayang, the youngest candidate in the 12th Sarawak Election for GPS, also assured that she would take the trust given to her seriously. ― DayakDaily
