New Kampung Haji Baki Hawker Centre will improve residents’ living standards

KUCHING, Dec 17: The newly completed Kampung Haji Baki Hawker Centre will benefit and improve residents’ living standards.

Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) chairman Lo Khere Chiang said the hawker centre was built under Project Rakyat with the cost of RM395,000, funded by the State government.

“The hawker centre is equipped with electricity and water supply. It consists of eight wet stalls and 10 dry stalls,” said Lo during the launching ceremony of Kampung Haji Baki Hawker Centre today.

Lo added parking space is also provided nearby. It will be further improved, including beautification works to make the centre more attractive.

The new hawker centre is currently closed, and it will start operating starting Jan 3, 2022, from 5.30am until 5.30pm. ― DayakDaily
