KUCHING, Nov 18: The Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, together with their family, extended their condolences to the family of Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, on the passing of his mother, the Puan Sri Datin Amar Lim Su Kheng.
In a statement issued by Astana Sarawak, they remembered the late Lim for her service in the Association of Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Sarawak (Sabati), Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP), and various non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
They also honoured her as a dedicated woman who deeply understood the sacrifices and commitments of those who serve the community.
In concluding their message of condolence, they expressed their hope that the entire family will be granted strength, resilience, and peace during this time of loss, and that they will continue to draw inspiration from her enduring legacy of kindness.
Lim passed away on Monday (Nov 17) at the age of 83. — DayakDaily
