KUCHING, March 20: The Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar received a courtesy visit from the Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, at the Astana Negeri Sarawak today.
According to a statement on the TYT’s official Facebook page, the meeting was held as a Pre-Council discussion ahead of the Sarawak State Cabinet Meeting.
During the meeting, Abang Johari presented several key matters related to State administrative matters for the Governor’s consideration in accordance with the Sarawak Constitution.
Wan Junaidi also conveyed his views and advice on important issues in efforts to strengthen the State’s development policies and direction.
The Governor further expressed his confidence in Abang Johari’s leadership, emphasising that Sarawak will continue to develop rapidly through sustainable and inclusive policies, ensuring the State’s long-term prosperity and well-being of its people. – DayakDaily
