KUCHING, March 31: Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib today visited the 17th Defence Service Asia (DSA 2022) and National Security Asia 2022 (NATSEC Asia 2022) exhibitions.
Dato Jameson Ahip Nawie, the press secretary to the Yang di-Pertua Negeri in a statement said during the visit, Taib and his wife were accompanied by Senior Minister of Public Works Dato Sri Fadillah Yusof, Senior Private Secretary to His Excellency Datu Mustapha Han and other senior military officers.
They were later entertained to a luncheon at the Royal Suite of MITEC (Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre) at the end of their visit.
Taib once served as the Minister of Defence during his 13 years of service in the Federal Government under the first Prime Minister, the late Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj and the second Prime Minister, the late Tun Abdul Razak Hussain.
The four-days international exhibitions were held at MITEC in Kuala Lumpur. – DayakDaily.
