KUCHING, May 28: The two-way, four-lane road to Batang Kayan Bridge (Sematan-Lundu Road) under the Pan Borneo Highway project will be fully open to the public tomorrow.
According to a notice issued by Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) posted on its Facebook Page today, the full opening of the two-way, four-lane road up to the Batang Kayan Bridge, Sematan-Lundu Road, will take place on May 29 at 11am.
“Road users are asked to exercise caution in this area while the road is being upgraded.
“Users are also asked to follow all traffic management for safety, paying special attention during the two-way road’s complete closure for road upgrading activities,” it said.
Furthermore, the contractor will notify road users if there is a change in the date or area involved with these works, and road users are advised to plan their journey in the affected areas.
