KUCHING, Aug 14: Two individuals, aged 24 and 21 years, were arrested on suspicion of doing illegal online gambling activity at Batu Kawa area on Thursday.
Padawan District Police chief Supt Aidil Bolhassan, in a press statement, said the two suspects were believed to be working as online gambling agents.
According to Aidil, two units of mobile phones and cash amounting to RM271 were confiscated as well during the raid.
The two suspects will be investigated under Section 4(1)(c) of the Common Gaming Houses Act 1953.
