KUCHING, Jan 14: Two Rafflesia flowers are currently in bloom at the Gunung Gading National Park.
According to Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) in their Facebook post today, both flowers will be in bloom for four days from Jan 14-17.
It said the first flower is 55 centimetres (cm) in diameter with six petals and located about 100 metres (m) from the Gunung Gading Park headquarters, categorised as an easy trail.
The second flower, 57cm in diameter with six petals, is located about 250m away, which is also an easy trail from the park headquarters.
On the same note, SFC reminded visitors to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set at the park, and a guided walk is compulsory.
