KUCHING, Sept 2: Two lucky visitors to the Kuching Festival Fair 2026 are now riding away with a motorcycle and an electric scooter after winning the event’s grand prize lucky draw.
According to a press release, Lim Heng Siang won the EZI RAY-01 electric scooter, while Ho Kok Soon took home the SM Sport 110E motorcycle.
The prizes were handed over by Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng in a ceremony following the lucky draw, which was conducted on Aug 16, the final day of the festival.
Wee congratulated both winners and thanked Tay Motor for sponsoring the two grand prizes, saying that private-sector support played an important role in making the Kuching Festival Fair a successful and meaningful annual celebration for the community.
“We sincerely thank Tay Motor for their generous support.
“Their sponsorship added excitement to the Lucky Draw and gave our visitors something special to look forward to during the Festival,” he said. — DayakDaily
