KUCHING, Aug 4: Two individuals were injured following a three-vehicle accident along Jalan Puncak Borneo today.
According to Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation center in a statement today, they receive the call regarding the incident at 10.10am and deployed firefighters from Bomba Siburan to the location.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that the incident involved a Proton Saga, Perodua Viva and Perodua Alza,
The driver of the Perodua Viva, who fractured both of his legs, was found trapped inside of his vehicle, while the driver of the Proton Saga was helped by members of the public and given medical treatment at the location by Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team.
Firefighters then cut off the vehicle roof using rescue tools in order to extricate the Perodua Viva driver, who was then given initial treatment by medical personnel before both victims were transported to Sarawak General Hospital for further treatment.
The driver of the Perodua Alza was unharmed in the incident. — DayakDaily
