Two hurt in Tudan after truck flips while trying to avoid motorcycle

MIRI, Dec 8: A single cab pick-up turned turtle in Tudan this afternoon while trying to avoid a motorcycle.

The vehicle’s driver and a passenger sustained bodily injuries in the 1pm incident.


The driver managed to exit the vehicle, while the passenger was pulled out by a team of firefighters from Lopeng fire station.

Both were rushed to Miri Hospital for treatment.

The injured passenger being attended to.

According to sources, prior to the incident, the single cab pick-up was on its way to Tudan. Upon approaching the scene, a motorcycle suddenly exited a junction and accelerated.

The pick-up which was laden with concrete and bricks veered off the road as it tried to avoid the motorcycle, before turning turtle. — DayakDaily
