KUCHING, May 22: TV Sarawak (TVS) today announced a collaboration with Sarawak United FC as the club’s official media partner in bringing fresh content and the latest updates on the club’s activities to local football fans.
TVS chief executive officer Suhaimi Sulaiman said the collaboration is in support of Sarawak United FC as the current leading team in the Malaysia Premier League 2021 season.
According to Suhaimi, Sarawak United FC has raised their ranking since its debut after the club’s rebranding in 2019.
“This collaboration is a win-win for both parties. TVS is happy to create content on Sarawak United FC and fans of the football club will be happy to consume the content,” he said in a press statement today.
Suhaimi noted that football fans are looking forward to the club’s updates, players routines, performance insights and entertained with inspiring contests by TVS and Sarawak United FC.
“However, there would not be any airing of live matches yet due to broadcasting rights ownership at the moment,” he added.
Meanwhile, Legal Advisor of Sarawak United FC Haizul Azmi Dzulkafli, said that the club is excited about the collaboration.
“This presents us with a unique opportunity to harness fan-friendly content provided by TVS during and after the pandemic,” he said. — DayakDaily
