Tun M arrives in Bintulu to launch Bersatu


BINTULU, Dec 1: Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad arrived at Bintulu Airport at 5.55pm today.

He was received and welcomed by Minister in the Chief Minister’s Office (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Talib Zulpilip, federal Entrepreneur Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof and Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sarawak chairman Chong Chieng Jen.

The premier, who is also Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) chairman, is here to officially launch Bersatu Sarawak at the Bintulu Civic Centre tonight.


After a brief prayer, Dr Mahathir greeted party members and supporters in red shirts who gathered at the arrival lobby of the airport to welcome him.

Following the welcome, the entourage departed to attend a closed-door meeting with protem leaders of Bersatu Sarawak at a leading hotel. — DayakDaily
