KUCHING, Dec 1: Dreammaster Sleep Gallery celebrated its grand opening at Milan Square in Jalan Wan Alwi today with traditional Chinese lion dances and the thunderous sound of firecrackers.

The local ultra-modern bedding specialist finally has its own grand showroom after more than 20 years in the business of making and selling beds and home furniture and fittings.

One of its directors, Brian Ong, said their furniture business now occupied four floors spanning a total of 25,000 sq. feet of floor space. Besides showcasing their bedding sets, they are also selling ultra modern designer leather sofa, settee, dinning table — wooden and marble, cupboards, side decorations and many more types of furniture for home, office and hotel use.

In conjunction with the grand opening, the Gallery is offering lots of special promotions and discounts.

“The ground floor is occupied with our high-end products — leather sofa, marble dining tables, designer bed frame and more,” he told reporters covering the launching.

“There are also home décor, like different kind of lamps and picture drawings, that captivate the eyes and add a beautiful, modern ambience to the space in your homes.”

Brian added that for customers with specific tastes, designs and needs in mind, Dreammaster could meet their demands.

He narrated that Dreammaster is a local firm that started making bedding furniture and fittings more than 20 years ago. Their brand `Dreammaster’ came into existence in 1994.

Under this brand, their company also manufactured mattresses and sofa. In 2015, they started their retail business.

“We also do our own research and development to enhance our technical expertise and material knowledge. All the mattresses on display here are locally made by us,” he revealed.

Ong added that the equipment they used to make these high-quality products, like mattresses, were from Italy and USA. Their factory is at Demak Industrial Estate in Bako, near here.

On the mattresses that they make, he assured they used pure 100 per cent latex for the comfort of their customers.

On their wide selection of designer leather sofa, chairs, dining tables and bed frames, he said they were handpicked and imported by their own directors from countries such as Singapore, Japan and Europe to meet local demands.

The Gallery also offers a full range of local and imported modern office equipment and systems to give any office a contemporary and conducive feel.

“There will be more office furniture for modern offices in the next few weeks,” he said.
