KUCHING, July 4: A four-wheel drive (4WD) pick-up truck was razed by fire at Mile 27, Bintulu to Bakun road early Saturday morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) was contacted at 4am and a team had been deployed to the scene.
According to the statement from State Bomba Operation Centre, the truck was totally destroyed by fire when the team reached the scene.
The driver of the vehicle had suffered from minor injuries and had been sent to the hospital by his family members.
The operation ended at 5.09am and the team had returned back to their station.
The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown.—DayakDaily
