SIBU, April 21: A man who was reported missing after his boat capsized in Batang Rajang Sibu was found dead by the public this afternoon.
The 63-year-old deceased had gone fishing together with his family member but could not be found after the fishing boat they were on sank on Sunday (April 19) morning.
According to a Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) report, the deceased was found by the public around 4.15pm some three kilometres from the Bomba control post set up to facilitate search and rescue operations.
The body was later recovered and handed over to the police for further investigation. — DayakDaily
