KUCHING, May 11: A man in his 30s was killed after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a roadside barrier on Jalan Sebauh in Bintulu on Saturday (May 10).
According to Bintulu district police chief Supt Nixon Joshua Ali, in the 6.48am accident, the victim was heading from Simpang Sebauh to his home.
“He lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the metal road barrier on the left side of the road.
“The victim was pronounced dead by medical personnel at the scene,” he said in a statement.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
