KUCHING, June 23: The traffic light at the Jalan Setia Raja roundabout will be temporary closed for four days, from June 26 to 29.
Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak in a statement today said the closure is to make way for road surface upgrading works from 10pm until 5am.
“The traffic light will be open for road users from 5am until 10pm on the effected date and traffic control officers will be onsite to ensure smooth traffic flow,” it said.
The department also advises road users to plan their journey ahead and be careful when passing through the affected road during the construction period to ensure safety for everyone.
“JKR Samarahan will update if there are any changes on the date, time and area affected,” it added.
