Tiong rolls up sleeves, vows to start immediately on serving Dudong people

KUCHING, Dec 20: Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) president Dato Sri Tiong King Sing assures his Dudong constituents that he will immediately get to work to serving them.

Tiong, who is also Bintulu MP, said he will be engaging different communities in order to form committees to address matters in specific areas.

Discussions will also be held to formulate the right strategies and guidelines to resolve each issue or problem with the correct solutions for the constituency.


“This would also involves cooperating with each other. Together we can all start building a livable, peaceful and developing Dudong.

“Come to me if you need to report any problem,” said Tiong in a Facebook post today.

Tiong noted, serving the people without delay is the best way for the party to thank voters for their support and for giving him a chance to serve them.

He said this is a victory for the Dudong electorate and a great start to supporting each other to make Dudong better.

“It’s an opportunity for us to work hand-in-hand and I look forward to working with people in my hometown (Dudong) to create a better future

“Although we appreciate the media which had been very supportive of our efforts to win the seat, I also cannot thank our voters enough for this trust and support. Without you, there can be no victory and no way to achieve new heights for Dudong,” he added.

In the 12th Sarawak Election on Dec 18, Tiong won the N52 Dudong seat with a 5,806-vote majority defeating contenders from Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB), Democratic Action Party (DAP), Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK), Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru (PBDSB), Sarawak People’s Aspiration Party (Aspirasi), and two independent candidates.
