KUCHING, June 2: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds have been forecasted in Mukah, Bintulu, Miri and Limbang.
According to an advisory notice released by the Malaysia Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) at 2.45pm and valid until 5pm today, Mukah (Daro, Matu, Dalat and Mukah), Bintuly, Miri (Miri and Marudi) and Limbang are listed as areas forecast to be affected by the rainy weather.

A warning is issued when there are signs of thunderstorms with a rain intensity greater than 20 mm/hour or with the bad weather expected to last for more than an hour.
A thunderstorm warning is a short-term warning valid for a maximum of six hours for every release. — DayakDaily
