KUCHING, April 25: Thunderstorm warnings have been issued to Sri Aman and Betong by Malaysia Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) and is expected to last until 6pm.
According to the advisory notice released by MetMalaysia at 2.4pm, Sri Aman and Betong (Pusa and Betong) are listed as the areas to be affected by the rainy weather.
Based on the Facebook post, the warning is only issued when there are signs of thunderstorm with rain intensity exceeding 20mm an hour or with downpour that is expected to occur for more than an hour.
