KUCHING, Sept 28: A thunderstorm warning has been issued for Sri Aman by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).
The advisory, issued at 3pm, emphasises the likelihood of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in the region, which are expected to last until 6pm today.

“A warning is issued when there are signs of a thunderstorm with a rain intensity greater than 20 mm/hour that is approaching or expected to last for more than an hour.
“A thunderstorm warning is a short-term warning that is valid for a maximum of six hours per issuance,” it said. — DayakDaily
