BAU, Aug 22: A sudden thunderstorm packed with heavy rain and strong winds wreaked havoc at Bau District Office on Wednesday (Aug 21) evening.
Bau Fire and Rescue Station was alerted about the disaster at 6.55pm and nine firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
Fire station chief Tawang Lingem said the winds were so strong they ripped part of a roof off the main building.

“The roof was blown away and hit the building next to it,” he added.
