KUCHING, Dec 22: Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued thunderstorm warning for ten districts in Sarawak until 8pm today (Dec 22).
In an advisory notice, MetMalaysia identified the affected districts as Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Mukah, Matu, Dalat, Miri, Subis, and Marudi.
The forecasted weather conditions include heavy rainfall and strong winds.
MetMalaysia pointed out that a thunderstorm warning is issued in response to indications of a thunderstorm with a rain intensity exceeding 20mm/hour, either occurring or expected to persist for more than an hour. — DayakDaily
