KUCHING, Dec 22: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg met with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today to discuss further cooperation between the Sarawak and Federal government in the green energy sector.
Anwar in a Facebook post said the meeting was held following Abang Johari’s visit to his office at Bangunan Perdana in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur.
He wrote that among other matters discussed during the meeting involved new investment opportunities that are increasing in Sarawak and also in Peninsular Malaysia.
“We also talked about close cooperation in the context of the unity government which will definitely continue to be strengthened for the sake of the people,” he said. — DayakDaily
