KUCHING, July 15: Three have died after their motorcycle crashed into a sedan vehicle along Jalan Embuau Song in Kapit today.
According to a report from Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak operations centre, firefighters from Bomba Song were rushed to the location after receiving an emergency call regarding the accident at 5.38pm.
“According to witnesses, all three victims, who were riding a motorcycle, initially collided with a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle before losing control and crashing into the sedan vehicle coming from the opposite direction.
“As a result of the accident, all three victims were pronounced dead by medical personnel at the location, while the 4WD and sedan vehicles drivers were unharmed,” it said.
The victims were Joshua Richard, 38; Jimbai Ujam, 51; and Sempun Lau, 51. — DayakDaily
