SERIAN, Jan 6: Three individuals sustained injuries after their Perodua Axia skidded off the road and fell into a drain at Jalan Kuching-Serian, Mile 29 today.
The accident was reported to the fire department at 1.43pm today, prompting the Serian Fire and Rescue Department (BBP Serian) to respond to the scene.
The accident involved three victims aged between 21 and 23, one sustaining minor injuries, while another suffered a broken left leg. The third victim also sustained a broken left leg, along with a wound on his hand.
The fire department personnel used spinal boards to extract the victims from the vehicle and provided initial medical assistance.
Two of the injured victims were sent to Serian Hospital by the Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS), while the third victim was transported by a Ministry of Health ambulance. – DayakDaily
