KUCHING, Sept 5: A four-wheel-drive vehicle fell into a 20-foot ravine at Borneo Highlands Resort today.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre (PGO) in a statement said they received the emergency call at 4.56pm.
Three men who were in the vehicle, one of whom was critically injured in the accident, were rushed to a hospital in two ambulances.
The accident happened when they were descending from the resort along Jalan Puncak Borneo and the driver lost control of the vehicle, resulting in the fall into the ravine.
Eight firefighters from Siburan fire station were despatched to the scene and the operation ended at 6.50pm. — DayakDaily
