KUCHING, May 21: Three individuals who were found loitering outside of their house areas after 10pm were issued compounds by the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) today.
The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said the three were out of 23 compounds issued as of today in Bintulu with 11 compounds, Kuching (5), Sibu (4), Padawan (1), Miri (1) and Mukah (1).
Of the 23, seven individuals were caught not observing social distancing, five did not register using the MySejahtera application, three did not wear face masks, two premises were operating overtime, one was carrying more than two allowed passengers in a private vehicle, one had no permit for traveling and another left a Covid-19 high-risk zone without permission.
With that, the cumulative number of compounds issued by PDRM since March 18, 2020 increased to 6,642 today.
Meanwhile, SDMC also reported 27 compounds issued under the Ministry for Local Government and Housing with 13 of them issued to owners without complete premises registration books.
Among the rest, seven were caught without face masks, three were operating overtime, three eatery owners allowing dine-ins and another who did not register using the MySejahtera application.
The cumulative number of compounds issued under the Minstry for standard operating procedure (SOP) flouters since Feb 1, 2021 now stands at 637. — DayakDaily
