KUCHING, Aug 21: Abdul Ramzi Bujang and his brother Azmizi Bujang topped the Sports Physique and Athletic Physique categories in the Kuching South City Classic 2023 bodybuilding championship.
At the same event, their youngest brother Mohd Nurrazmi Bujang won a bronze medal in the Athletic Physique category, and Daubline Timbol was the runner-up.
Taking second and third places in the Sports Physique category were Aflisahyir Ali and Mohd Shabli Tuah respectively.
Organised by MBKS in collaboration with Sarawak Bodybuilding Association (SBBA) and Kuching Division Bodybuilding Association (KDBBA in conjunction with Kuching Festival 2023, the championship was held at the Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Floating Stage yesterday (Aug 20).
This championship also had a women’s category, namely Women’s Fitness Model, which was won by Lily Nur Izzaty Ahmad, followed by Kasma Mo and Ong Shih Ling in second and third places respectively.
The Men’s Bodybuilding category was the final segment of the competition, where Mohd Afif Jamal was crowned champion, with Farrokh Ibtisam Ting Abdullah and Gerdashlie Bodos announced as runner-up and third place winners respectively.
A total of 26 bodybuilding athletes participated in this championship. —DayakDaily
