KUCHING, Apr 3: Three young men were arrested for violating the Movement Control Order (MCO) at Jalan Pintas Jugan/Buso, Siniawan on Thursday night.
The arrest was made when the police who were on ‘Snap Check’ duty for the MCO spotted a car on the road around 7.10 pm.
According to the police report, it was said that the driver of the car failed to present his driving license and had also failed to provide a reasonable reason for them to be out after the curfew set by the MCO.
All three men were later arrested and brought to the police station and will be investigated under Section 11(1) Prevention And Control of Infectious Diseases Regulations 2020 and Section 186 of the Penal Code. —DayakDaily
