The Mandarin Express serves free lunch from July 12-16, 50 packs daily 12pm-2pm

KUCHING, July 9: The Mandarin Express at Icom Square here will be serving 50 packs of free lunch to the needy from July 12 to 16 at lunch time every day.

The restaurant said a different type of local food is prepared for each of the five days and to be distributed from 12pm to 2pm to anyone in need who visits the restaurant.

“It is an event to help each other during this trying time. We will be serving 50 packets of food a day at 12pm.

“Please share this with those who may need a free lunch. Let’s spread goodness and fight Covid-19 together,” it said in a poster on social media today.

The Mandarin Express will be serving Singapore Hokkien Mee on Monday (July 12), Yang Zhou Fried Rice on Tuesday (July 13), Fried Foochow Mee on Wednesday (July 14), Curry Roti Canai on Thursday (July 15) and Economy Rice on Friday (July 16). — DayakDaily
