KUCHING, Aug 3: The Chief Justice of Sabah and Sarawak (CJSS) Datuk Abang Iskandar Abang Hashim has paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud today in Demak Jaya here.
According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), the meeting lasted about 30 minutes, and the purpose was to get TYT’s thoughts and approval on some information about judicial and legal services in Sarawak, which touched on the Federal Constitution, including the appointment of judges, and so on.
The courtesy visit concluded with a photo session.
Abang Iskandar became the tenth Chief Justice of Sabah and Sarawak on Feb 20, 2020, after taking the oath of office and allegiance at the Palace of Justice. — DayakDaily
