KUCHING, Dec 21: Re-elected N82 Bukit Sari assemblyman Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan has expressed his thanks to voters for continuing to put their trust in Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS).
He said the coalition’s victory will ensure continuity in all development projects which have been planned for Bukit Sari.
“Thank you to all voters across Sarawak for giving the landslide victory to GPS in the 12th Sarawak Election,” he said in a short statement today.
Awang Tengah won the seat with a 5,636-vote majority, beating Alias Mail of Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) and Riyah Basrah of Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) who lost their deposits after securing only 749 and 165 votes respectively. — DayakDaily
