MIRI, Dec 22: A 19-year-old Thai woman was believed to have committed suicide when she was found hanged in a room of a house at Ocean Park here this morning.
The lifeless body was found hanging on several napkins by her in-laws at around 8.30am.
State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) head SAC Denis Leong Soon Kuai, when contacted, said police and paramedics from Miri Hospital rushed to the scene when the alarm was raised.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
“No foul play involved. The case is classified as sudden death,” said Leong. — DayakDaily
