Temporary traffic detour at Meridian Central for Medan Jaya Flyover construction on Sept 6

KUCHING, Sept 5: A temporary detour will be in effect at the traffic lights near Meridian Central, in the area of Jalan Tun Hussein, Jalan Sultan Iskandar, and Jalan Kidurong in Bintulu, on September 6, 2024.

The Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak announced today that the detour is necessary to facilitate the construction of the Medan Jaya Road flyover.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution when driving through the area during the construction period and to follow all traffic management measures to ensure safety.
