KUCHING, Nov 1: There will be a temporary one-lane road closure to do repair works and upgrade the road surface along the Kuching- Samarahan Expressway from Nov 1 to 15.
According to a Sarawak Public Works Department notice, the roads affected are at the Heart Centre and ILP roundabouts.
The road repairs and upgrading of the road surfacing in the vicinity would be carried out during the day, from 9am to 4pm, and during the night from 9pm to 4am, daily.
As such, the department advised road users to be careful when driving in the area while the works are in progress and to comply with all traffic management for safety.
JKR Kota Samarahan will notify the public if there is any change in the date or area affected by the road closure.
Road users in the vicinity are advised to plan their journey and are reminded that the maximum speed limit throughout this construction area is only 30km/h.
