KUCHING, Dec 14: A temporary one-lane closure along Jalan P Ramlee and a partial carpark closure at Padang Pasir will be enforced from today until Jan 12, 2025 to facilitate tree removal works.
In an advisory, Sarawak Metro stated that the closure will occur daily from 9am to 4pm and 10pm and 5am.
These works are part of the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) Phase 1, specifically for the construction and completion of infrastructure under the Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART) Blue Line Package 2, stretching from Stutong to Hikmah Exchange.
Road users are urged to exercise caution when navigating through the affected areas.
Adherence to traffic management measures, road warning signs, and speed limits is essential to ensure safety throughout the closure period.
Sarawak Metro will promptly notify the public of any changes to the scheduled works.
