Upon arrival, the Emergency Response Team (ERT) discovered the young woman on the riverbank, stuck in a muddy area believed to be part of the soft riverbed. She had reportedly fallen from the waterfront area.

The ERT quickly conducted a situation assessment (size-up) and initiated a rescue operation using safety equipment including ropes and body harnesses. One firefighter descended the embankment to reach the victim and successfully brought her back to safety.

An initial assessment by the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team confirmed the victim was conscious and had not sustained any injuries. She was later handed over to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for further action.
