The court heard that the accident occurred at around 8.25am on March 10, 2022, along the Batu Kawa–Bau Road. Low, who was driving a Perodua Alza, rammed into the rear of a Perodua Axia driven by a 32-year-old man.

The impact forced the Axia into the opposite lane, where it collided head-on with a van. The driver of the Axia and his 41-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.

Low sustained minor bruises to her arm. Investigations revealed that her careless driving caused the crash.
