KUCHING, Sept 26: Kakus assemblyman Datuk John Sikie Tayai remains committed to resolving the issues raised by longhouse residents including the provision of longhouse building materials.
According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), Sikie who is also Minister in the Premier of Sarawak Department inspected several longhouses in the Kakus constituency on Saturday (Sept 24).
He stated that he will address some of the issues raised in Tuai Rumah Indai Tuai and Sungai Tujak, Tatau, particularly the provision of building materials.
Sikie went on to say that he hoped the construction in the longhouses would go smoothly following government’s assistance. — DayakDaily
