KUCHING, March 21: Tamin assemblyman Christopher Gira Sambang appeals to AirAsia to review its air ticket prices for intra-State routes in Sarawak.
According to Gira, he has received many complaints from the public with regards to expensive ticket prices from AirAsia to fly between destinations in Sarawak compared to outward bound flights from Sarawak.
“This is a burden for people in Sarawak especially to those regular flyers,” he said in a statement today.
Citing the return air ticket price for Kuching-Sibu, Gira said it cost between RM500 to RM600.
“Meanwhile for the return air ticket from Kuching to Kuala Lumpur, it costs between RM300 to RM400, he said. — DayakDaily
