KUCHING, September 7: In line with the formation of the Sarawak Baru alliance, Sarawak Workers Party (SWP) has launched their new shirts with the theme `Pejalai Kitai Mesti Sama, Mimpi Beri Sebaka, Nuju 2021’.

Its deputy president, Capt (Rtd) Engga Unchat, said the first batch of 500 pieces would be distributed to all party divisions in the state.

He explained that the theme was a call to all Sarawakians to “unite as one, sharing one dream and one direction for 2021”.

“For decades, Sarawak has lost a lot of our oil and gas. We’ve lost our rights, virgin forest, native customary rights land, `pemakai menoa’ and `pulau galau’.

“Our communities were sidelined and also living in hardship and poverty. Many are still without clean water, roads and electricity,” Engga said in a statement today.

Hence, he added, it was high time for Sarawakians to unite and fight for themselves and for the future generations through Sarawak Baru. — DayakDaily
