KUCHING, July 1: The Sarawak police contingent bodybuilding team emerged as the overall champion in ‘Mr Police & Mr Pahang 2024’ Bodybuilding and Physical Sports Championship.
According to a news report from TV Sarawak (TVS), Lance-Corporal Mohd Faizal Mat Rashid from Sarawak Contingent Police Headquarters (IPK) excelled in Mr Police 2024 Champion, Male Physical Category Champion Under 170cm and Athletic Physical Category Champion Under 170cm, while Joseph Ladi from Beratok Police Station in Serian, won the Under 65kg Bodybuilding Category.
Apart from that, Corporal Mohd Al Badrul Abu from the 11th Battalion of the Sarawak General Operations Force (PGA) also contributed by obtaining a bronze medal in the Male Athletics Physical Category Above 170cm, together with Corporal Gaddafi Arafat Zulkasisi from the 10th Battalion PGA Sarawak, who won bronze in the Male Bodybuilding Category above 75kg, and Lance Corporal Mohd Al Iqbal Rozlan from Sri Aman District Police Headquarters (IPD) obtained fourth place in the Male Athletic Physical Category Above 170cm.
The competition, which was held at Sultan Ahmad Shah Perak Jubilee Hall, Kuantan on June 28–29, saw the participation of PDRM teams from across Malaysia competing in eight categories. — DayakDaily
